Alfie
Alfie was found in a shelter with an injured leg. X-rays confirmed that the leg was broken and required surgical repair.
Alfie underwent surgery to stabilise the fracture using a plate. The procedure went well and he is now in the recovery and rehabilitation stage of his treatment.
Although the repair has been completed, Alfie is currently reluctant to bear weight on the affected leg. He has therefore begun physiotherapy to encourage him to use the leg again, rebuild strength and support his return to normal movement.
His progress will continue to be monitored as his rehabilitation continues.
