Lady came under our care suffering from advanced squamous cell carcinoma affecting her ear.
Veterinary examination confirmed that the cancer had progressed to a stage where surgical intervention was necessary in order to manage the disease and prevent further deterioration.
Due to the extent of the carcinoma, Lady underwent surgery to remove the affected ear.
Following the procedure, she remained under veterinary supervision for recovery, wound management and ongoing monitoring relating to her condition.
Lady’s case highlights the serious medical conditions that can develop in vulnerable cats living without consistent access to veterinary care and the importance of early intervention where possible.
