Munchkin came under our care suffering from parvovirus alongside a fractured leg.
Once stable enough for surgery, further assessment of the fracture confirmed that surgical repair was necessary. Munchkin underwent orthopaedic surgery to stabilise the broken leg using a surgical plate.
Following the procedure, Munchkin remained under veterinary supervision for recovery, pain management and rehabilitation support while the fracture healed.
Munchkin’s case involved managing both a life-threatening infectious disease and a significant orthopaedic injury at the same time, requiring ongoing veterinary monitoring and supportive care throughout recovery.
