Bobby is the oldest of our dogs and the much-loved matriarch of the group. She shares her days with her close friends Noah and Luis, guiding them with wisdom and warmth. Calm and dignified, Bobby holds a very special place in the heart of DDAA.

Bobby’s Story
Bobby was once an owned dog, but her life took a brutal turn when her paws were deliberately cut off as punishment. After this horrific abuse, she was thrown into the municipal pound, left to suffer without hope or care.
A German rescuer later took Bobby under her wing, ensuring she received safety and compassion for the first time in her life. But when she could no longer continue Bobby’s long-term care, this vulnerable girl once again faced being sent back to the pound.
We could not allow that. Bobby is now part of our Sanctuary Programme, where she receives lifelong protection, specialised support, and the dignity she was so cruelly denied.
Despite everything she has endured, Bobby’s gentle spirit shines through and she is finally safe.
