She is learning what it means to feel safe, to rest, and to simply be a puppy.

Sedef’s Story
Sedef was born in a garbage dump, into a world that offered no protection and very little chance of survival.
She was not alone at the start. She had siblings beside her but one by one, they became unwell with parvovirus, a disease that moves quickly and gives very little margin for survival.
Sedef was the one who made it through.
When she came into our care, she carried both the physical impact of her early life and the absence of the litter she had lost.
Now part of the Sanctuary Programme, Sedef is being given what she was denied at the beginning, safety, nourishment, and the chance to grow without fear.
She is still so young.
And for the first time, her future is something she gets to have.
