The organisations most people never hear about.
We are looking for small animal welfare organisations, sanctuaries, rescue groups, community programmes and advocacy organisations from around the world.
Across the world, thousands of small animal welfare organisations are working every day to save lives, provide treatment, educate communities and advocate for change.
Many operate with limited resources, many are volunteer led or run by one or two leaders, most never receive national attention. Most work alone in the most difficult circumstances
On World Animal Day 2026, Dog Desk Animal Action is using its platform to help introduce supporters to some of these organisations and the animals they serve.

Participating organisations will be featured on the World Animal Day hub and introduced to supporters through Dog Desk Animal Action’s social media channels.
Small organisations are often closest to the problems they are trying to solve.
They know their communities, they know their animals & they know the challenges.
This project exists to give those organisations a voice.
Interested in taking part?
Email help@dogdeskanimalaction.com and tell us a little about your organisation.
We’ll simply need your organisation name, country, website or social media account and a short description of your work.
Participating organisations will be featured on the World Animal Day hub and included in World Animal Day campaign content across Dog Desk Animal Action’s social media channels.
We’ll create your profile and send it to you for approval before publication.
